Instead, he harnessed his passion for service and his strong desire to make a meaningful impact, launching a career in the hospitality industry. Starting at The Lux Collective, a renowned luxury hotel group, Sydney's exceptional talent and determination quickly propelled him through the ranks. As Senior Vice President, he played a pivotal role in shaping the brand's strategic growth and development, ensuring each Lux Collective property delivered unforgettable experiences to discerning guests.
Building upon this success, Sydney went on to assume key roles within the hospitality industry, serving as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President for Marriott International, Mauritius Franchise and President of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. In these positions, he leveraged his extensive industry knowledge and marketing prowess to elevate Mauritius as a premier tourism destination. His ability to identify emerging trends and devise effective strategies proved invaluable in driving growth and success for the brands he represented.
